To promote the principles and teachings of Zen philosophy as a means of achieving spiritual enlightenment and inner peace.

Goals

  2. To provide resources and support for individuals interested in learning and practicing Zen philosophy.
  3. To foster a community of individuals who support and encourage one another in their Zen practices.

Program

  1. Create a comprehensive website that provides information on Zen philosophy, its history, and key teachings.
  2. Develop a series of online courses that cover the basics of Zen philosophy and provide guidance on how to apply its principles to daily life.
  3. Host regular online meetings or webinars where individuals can discuss and learn from one another’s experiences with Zen philosophy.
  4. Create a reading group where participants can read and discuss Zen texts such as “The Zen Teachings of Master Lin-Chi” and “The Gateless Barrier”.
  5. Organize in-person workshops and retreats that provide hands-on guidance and practice in Zen philosophy, including practices such as meditation, mindfulness, and martial arts.
  6. Develop resources such as guided meditations and journal prompts that are specific to Zen philosophy to help individuals integrate it into their daily lives.
  7. Encourage members to share their experience and insights about their practice on social media and other platforms.
  8. Encourage the understanding of the relationship between Zen and other spiritual practices like Buddhism, and how they can complement each other.
  9. Encourage the respect and understanding of the traditional customs and practices of Zen Buddhism and its role in the Asian culture and society.
